White Penja Peppercorns IGP - Cameroon

Here is a pepper for gourmets. Grown in Cameroon, Penja pepper is the first product to have benefited from a PGI on the African continent. It is obtained by fermentation of perfectly mature red pepper, until it is released from the pericarp that surrounds it. Once dried, white grains are a real treasure of aromas and reveal powerful, wild, animal, slightly pungent notes. This is called a grand cru of pepper. His strong character needs powerful chords. It goes perfectly with meats of character, both red and white, and more particularly with pork and lamb.
